Our last report in the Chronicle incorrectly stated that we had given $250 to the Salvation Army for the Children’s Summer Lunch Program. The correct amount should have been $150.
We have been unable to connect with the Montgomery Seasonal Ministry this year to find a date at which we could help, however, we will ask them to let us know next year what their plans are and we will try again. As previously reported, we did donate $250 toward their expenses.

The committee decided to assist Region V with their Seasonal Workers Hospitality Ministry in Montgomery from August to October1. We will send a check for $250 to help with expenses. We will also try to get a date to serve a meal to the migrant workers and their families. This is an area of outreach that we’ve done in the past and where our help is needed and appreciated.
We sent a check for $250 to the Salvation Army for their Summer Lunch program for children. The ‘Sal’ sends a lunch wagon to some of the poorer area of the Mankato community during the summer to provide lunch to children who would be on free and reduced lunch during the school year.
Many thanks to St. Julian's Guild for wrapping boxes for the Samaritan's
shoebox project. It was a great way to help us get the parish involved.
Lisa and Andrew Westberg will chair the Christmas project to fill these
boxes.
We received a thank-you note from Donna McNear for the donation our church
made to her Micronesian Mission Project which helps children with vision
problems. There is an article on the bulletin board in the undercroft with
more information on this project.
We are exploring the possibility of helping with the Seasonal Workers
