Many thanks to St. Julian's Guild for wrapping boxes for the Samaritan's
shoebox project. It was a great way to help us get the parish involved.
Lisa and Andrew Westberg will chair the Christmas project to fill these
boxes.

We received a thank-you note from Donna McNear for the donation our church
made to her Micronesian Mission Project which helps children with vision
problems. There is an article on the bulletin board in the undercroft with
more information on this project.

We are exploring the possibility of helping with the Seasonal Workers
Hospitality Ministry in Montgomery. This entails serving a meal on a Sunday
afternoon and evening--more later. There is also opportunity to work with
Winnie Mitchell at a Vacation Bible School for the children.

The Outreach Committee spent the rest of its meeting dividing large boxes of
laundry detergent into smaller, useable bags for ECHO Foodshelf.

The Outreach Committee will next meet on Aug. 3, at 6:30 in the Vestry room.
