Save your Wednesday evenings in Febru-ary and March for our Lenten pro-gram! We will eat delicious soups and discuss each of the eight Millennium De-velopment Goals. We’ve also invited all the declared candidates for the Minne-sota U.S. Senate seat and the First Dis-trict U. S. Congress seat to come to St. John’s on Wednesday nights to talk about efforts to end extreme world poverty (specifically, the Millennium Develop-ment Goals), debt forgiveness, trade re-form, social justice issues in the U.S. and abroad, and what role the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives can and should play in shaping our country’s response to human suffering and need.
