Centenary Methodist Church has a valuable event coming up that we have all been invited to attend. On Monday, Nov. 26 at 7:30 p.m. Centenary will address the topic of Nuclear Energy with a very knowledgeable and distinguished speaker, Dr. Genevieve S. Roessler. Her specialty is Health Physics and she will be giving an update on nuclear energy and its future use as a major energy source.

The Center for Earth Spirituality and Rural Ministry will be hosting a day-long conference on Saturday, Nov. 3rd aimed at “Changing the World, One Bite at a Time.” Sessions include: Taking action for Local and Regional Food Systems, Myth: Fast Foods are Faster, Shaping Local Food Efforts and Digging Deeper, Growing Together.
